How Tasty work

At the festival you do not reach for your card at every counter. You buy Tasty once, and then you just taste.

Three steps, that is all

  1. You buy Tasty

From your phone, or at one of the festival tills. They land in your wallet: there is nothing to collect and nothing to carry.

  2. You show your code

At the counter you open your wallet and let them scan the code. The maker reads it, and the Tasty move.

  3. You taste

The gelato is yours. Whatever is left stays in your wallet, for the next counter and for tomorrow.

What they cost

One Tasty is worth €1 of gelato.

The packages cost less than they are worth: that is the discount for buying ahead, and the larger ones throw a few in.

  • 5 Tappa €5
  • 10 Viaggio €10 + 2 Conetti FREE!
  • 25 Grand Tour €25 + 3 Conetti FREE!

The best value is the 5 one at €5: it gives you the most Tasty per euro.

How much gelato that buys

Today at the festival a gelato costs between 1 and 4 Tasty.

The maker sets the price, flavour by flavour, and you will find it written on their counter. There is no single price because there is no single gelato.

The questions we always get

What if I have some left?
They stay in your wallet. There is no change to ask for and no receipt to keep: the balance is whatever your phone says.
Can I give some to the person with me?
Yes. From your wallet you can transfer as many as you like to someone else, or print a voucher to hand to someone without a phone.
What if I lose my phone?
The Tasty are not on the phone: they are on your account. Sign in from another one and you will find them where you left them.
Can I pay cash at the counter?
No, and it is not unfriendliness: the counter takes Tasty only, so the maker keeps no till and the queue keeps moving. Cash goes to the festival tills, which give you Tasty.
